We also supply new and used replacement barrel heads, new heads for making "hogsheads" (250 litres capacity) from regular barrel staves, poplar bungs, TOASTED OAK CHIPS, used barrel hoops.

We can supply your requirements on a "spot" price basis, or on a long-term guaranteed fixed-price basis.

Freight

We endeavor to obtain the best possible freight rates, to avoid any unnecessary expense, as we know that it is no use being competitive on f.o.b. prices if we cannot be equally competitive on c.i.f. prices. Our c.i.f. prices are quoted subject to any variations up or down in freight rates at the time of shipment. The c.i.f. prices for entire barrels are normally based on loading 210 units in a 40 foot high-cube container. Rates for 20 foot containers (which hold about 70 entire barrels), or 40 foot standard containers (which hold 140 barrels) will be quoted on special request.

The c.i.f. prices on shooks are normally based on loading385 barrels in a 40 foot container, or 280 units in a 20 foot container, depending on which rate is more favorable for a particular destination.
